sql and iis

Hi all,
we inherited a large software project from some gone
softworkers based on NT4.0, IIS4.0, ASP, SQL-Server 7.0,
MFC. Who can point me to some books or hints or articles
how to manage such a project. Our severest problems at the
moment are access rights. The IIS cant access the database
for example. We have a domain-based net.
