Hi;
I applied the IISLock down tool to our beta server and
although I stated that the server is used for dynamic
pages, web and ftp the tool decided to remove the IIS
completely. IIS has been reinstalled but now none of our
dynamic sites work.

We use SQL server 2000 and no matter what I do I can not
get the IUsr to authenticate. I get the following Error.

====================================
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e4d'

Login failed for user 'SERVER\IUSR_SERVER'.

/default.asp, line 17
====================================

IUsr has read & write permissions to the database but I
think the problem lies with the file permissions that
IISLock down has changed.

I have tried to un-install the utility by running it again
and ask it to revert back but nothing works.

This Lockdown utility appears to be the sure way to
destroy a server. Or perhaps it is Microsoft's way of
saying to secure IIS you have to remove it. There are
also no knowledge base articles addressing this issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Kami
