Your user NewDomain\javierrosas does not automatically have the same
permissions as Domain_nt\javier. You will have to add permissions to this
new login. Or you can run sp_change_users_login, as suggested by Ron, to
link the security account for a user in the current database with the new
login.
On other words, your new login will not automatically replace the old
login, but you can map the new login to the existing dB user ID without
losing the user's permissions.
