Does anyone know how to make SQL generate a Certificate
Signing Request (CSR) for a third-party (Verisign) SSL
certificate. I have not found any information on this
process other than a post that suggested installing IIS to
generate the CSR and then uninstalling IIS. Is there a
cleaner solution?

Thanks for any help.

Peter
