I have my SQL Server 2K set up for Mixed Authentication,
and I set up my NT user in SQL Server, and gave it, AND
the SQL Server user the appropriate permissions, and when
I go to log on to the server, via Access and ODBC, NOT
using a Trusted Connection, everything works great and I
can see the tables I have permission to see,
BUT, when I choose the Trusted Connection box, I have
permission to see EVERY table.
Now, how can this be if I've set up the permission for the
SQL User and the NT User with the exact same permissions?
Is it getting permissions from somewhere else or another
account?
There is NO OTHER account that is set up within SQL Server
under the database, so where could it be coming from?
I AM an administrator on this network, but when I removed
my user name from the Administrators group, it still did
the same thing, so Trusted Connections isn't something I'm
liking right now.
HELP!!
Thanks,
Steve Townson
