Sateesh,

Error 18452 can have different reasons.

One of them being that the autentication mode of your SQL Server is set to
"Windows only". If this is the case, then you will get Error 18452 when you
use a SQL login to connect to SQL Server. If this is not the case then see
the links in the "Additional Info" section below.

To change the authentication mode from Windows (only) to Mixed Mode, use
the following steps:

1. Open the Enterprise Manager.

2. Click to expand the server group.

3. Right-click the server name, and then click Properties.

4. Click the Security tab.

5. Under Authentication, click the SQL Server and Windows option button.
