I am trying to access the SQL Server through a VPN using
NT Authentication. The user is set up as a member of a
global domain group which is mapped into SQL Server as a
login and into the database as a member of a group.
I can successfully login to the VPN, connect to shares,
etc. When I try to setup an ODBC Connection using NT
authentication I get "Login failed for user '(null)'
Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server
Connection". Mixed mode is not turned on and we really
didn't want to turn it on, because the application uses NT
authentication and we must use that mode.
The DSN will be used by an Access application hitting the
SQL Server.
Any advice is appreciated.
