Hi all.
I am looking at ways of performing the above. We have an
application that performs truncate table commands. We only
want certain users of the app to do this. If I am correct
you have to be a member of sysadmin to do this. What is
the easiest way to do this without comprimising security.
I have looked at creating an Application role, but cannot
see how to grant this specific permission Just for certain
users of this application role. Do I assign this role to
sysadmin?
Thanks, confusingly
Tim
