I am in the process of testing a new system running on Sql 7 SP4. We
are using integrated security, and when a user that has not been mapped
to the database tries to run the client program, it crashes sql server
on the host.

In the dump file, I can see a message "Cannot open database requested in
login" (database name), "Login fails", "Login failed for user "
(username)

Is there anything I can do so the crashes stop?

Dave
