Well - this is a good question! When you first asked this I was quite
perplexed...what the heck is a role owner (I though??).
After a bit of a review thought, I found that you're right...you can specify
a role owner but I have NO IDEA what the heck it's used for... Role's are
NOT the owners of objects (it's always the username of the creator that's
the owner). So, I looked in the sysuers system table and I can't even find
where the owner is maintained. SO...I've decided I need to ask you the next
question... Where are you seeing it (such that you want to change it). That
will help me try and figure out how we can set that value.
At this point though I think it's pretty benign...
