If the configuration from server B to server A works, the configuration
from server A from server B should also works. Please check the following
configuration:
1. Check the security configuration for your linked server from server B to
server A: in the SQL Enterprise Manager, right click the linked server
name, click Properties, then click the Security tab, check how you
configure this server.
2. Then please check the security setting for the linked server from server
A from server B, check to see if there are any differences.
