I am trying to connect to an Analysis Server running on
Win2K server from my PC (running Win2K Pro) and I keep
getting the following error:
Cannot open connection to Analyis server 'servername'.
Error in data [Possible data corruption]''
I have spent a lot of time surfing the net to find a
solution. In one of the newsgroup messages I read that
this problem could be due to the MSSQLADHelper file in
SP2. I have tried copying the old SQLADHLP and XPADSI
files from the SQL Server RTM CD ROM to the respective
directories - but still the same problem. I am at my
wit's end and would appreciate any pointers please. I can
access the server from the Server box itself without any
problems.
