xp_sqlagent_proxy_account and post sp2

Hello,

  I updated my sql 2000 sp2 with the most current security roll up package
and now my sql server agent proxy no longer will run xp_cmdshell. How do I
re-instate it? Or should I be looking somewhere else. Thank you for any
help.
