Sue is absolutely correct...first start with Books Online. On the sql
server machine, go to start, programs, SQL Server, then choose the icon for
Books Online.
There are MANY different ways to accomplish what you want, so you will need
to do some research and decide which fits your environment best.

| how do I setup up users to access my database?

| I already have the users accessing things in the SQL
| server envirmoment, but when I login using my front end
| (access data project) once try to access the store
| produceers, I get an error stating that I cannot open the
| procedure.

| want..meaning I have 2 users joe and ann.
| Joe is allowed to insert, and view stuff in the database ,
