Hi Tom,

It is a problem introduced by SQL Server SP1. The workaround is the following:

Replace the SP1 versions of sqladhlp.exe (...SQLServer\80\Tools\Binn) and
xpadsi.exe (SQLServer\MSSQL$instance\Binn) with the RTM (Release To
Manufacturing) version of those files from the SQL Server 2000 cd-rom.

Hope this helps!
