Hi, all

I'm applying SQL Server 2000 Security Hotfix updated on
4/14/2002.

I followed the Standard Hotfix Installation Steps. But
I don't find files such as Sqlservr.exe, Odsole70.dll,
Xpqueue.dll, Xprpl.dll, Xpweb70.dll, Xplog70.dll, and
Xpstar.dll on my SQL 2000 Server.....

This is the steps I did.

  1. Install Database Components SP2
  2. Install Analysis Services SP2
  3. Tring to Backup Sqlservr.exe, Odsole70.dll,
Xpqueue.dll, Xprpl.dll, Xpweb70.dll, Xplog70.dll, and
Xpstar.dll and prepare for Security Hotfix.

What is happening here? Do I have to install Desktop
Engine SP2 as well in order to have Sqlservr.exe,
Odsole70.dll, Xpqueue.dll, Xprpl.dll, Xpweb70.dll,
Xplog70.dll, and Xpstar.dll files???

Thank You very much~

Steph
