Is your Windows login an administrator? Unless it is, you will not be able
to gain access to a new installation of MSDE . Also see:

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which
can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.
