Re: Users locked out

The parent folder called SHARED had zero permissions in it. If I drill down
to the child folders I get:

Domain Users - Special
Users - Special
Administrators & Domain Admin set to Full Control
Also, Everyone - Special

I did go this morning and set the parent to mirror the child.

I have a customer's server that is experiencing folder permission issues.
Whener a user creates a new folder on the Shared drive, the permissions
become set to only that user. It should be opened up to everyone in the
domain. As the Administrator I even have to go in and take ownership and
then reassign permissions.

Any thoughts?

Probably already looked at it but what permissions and inheritence are
set on the parent folder for the share? Created folders normally
inherit the permissions of the parent.
