I got a Thawte email certificate and can use it to sign and encrypt email.
Here is the link:
http://www.thawte.com/secure-email/personal-email-certificates/index.html?click=main-nav-products-email
At the bottom is a link to get started.
I also created a verisign 60 trial cert which I am going to test out. If it
works, then I will let you know.
What problems did you have with the Verisign cert?

Hi, I used to use a Verisign certificate for Outlook 2003 that I paid
$20/year for. When I try to obtain a similar certificate for Outlook 2007
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/EY010504841033.aspx
It offers only two providers both of which charge $360/year per person.
I tried to get the versign ID to work without luck. Does anyone know of
any other solution that would work and have tried it? TIA
.
