Hello,
I have not personally used any of these. From what I have read, Device
Protector wins on performance while DeviceLock wins on price.
ScriptLogic: Desktop Authority

SmartLine: DeviceLock
http://www.devicelock.com/
Continental Software: DeviseWall
http://www.devicewall.com/
PointSec: Device Protector

As I say, I have not went down the 3rd-party avenue. I am waiting to
see what Windows 2008 DCs can do out of the box with Windows Vista. I
saw a demo at the Vista Launch Event that was rather impressive.

Hi All,
I was after any opinions on USB Locking Software... With all of the
latest security threats coming from within companies these days we (a
UK recruitment agency) have decided that now is the best time to start
restricting users from using USB Keys / MP3 Players / PDA's etc.
Has anyone else implemented this and what software did you use? any
advice / opinions / recommends ...
i have looked at DeviceWall, DeviceLock, Prefix and Safend & was
wondering if anyone had issues / praise for any of these
Thanks In Advance!
Ria
