Hi Folks,
Does anybody know if a URL can be structured in a way that includes a
username and password, in order to bypass the Windows password dialog
box, and go directly to a password protected web page?
I know it can be done to bypass a web page login box, but I haven't
been able to make it bypass the Windows password dialog.
The purpose for this is that we have a password protected family
website. One family member doesn't have a real computer. He uses
WebTV. When he attempts to go to the site, he can't reach it because
WebTV apparently doesn't contain the password dialog box that's part
of the Windows and Mac operating systems.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Ken
