And for anyone who cares:
The issue was with file permissions. NOT encryption. A server crash
had fouled up user permissions to the files, and without proper
permissions, they could not decrypt the files. CHKDSK /F fixed the
problem, and now users can decrypt regardless of the server that is
active in the cluster.
So encryption does work in a cluster, just like Microsoft sezs.
