Welcome to my killfile.
Do you think that we who answer have nothing else to do
with our lives. I typed your original answer as I was
catching a flight.
Sorry that I could not meet your quality requirements
for responses.

As I said, this is by design. Roaming profiles will
probably not meet your requirements, nor will CRS (You
can look it up with your loads of time).

WebDAV is probably your only answer unless you wait for
Longhorn.

Now, good bye for good.

OK, here's what's got me "huffy" about your answers:

The claim that this is by design. Technically, in the strictest
terms, you're right. More broadly, you skipped over Microsoft's own
design solution, namely, using roaming profiles. You did mention
another answer, which was WebDAV, which I hadn't considered.

Saying don't implement EFS. You gave absolutely no supporting reasons
for your statement. You may be entirely right, but without any logic
to support your statement, your answer is not useful.

Your analysis on EFS may be entirely correct, but zipping off a couple
of lines essentially telling me "tough" does no one any good. Adding
"read my book" doesn't work either; you didn't even mention its title!

I don't like your answer, not because it isn't correct, but because it
is incomplete, misleading and totally lacking any corroborating
evidence or supporting logic. I only hope your book is better written
than your posts.- Hide quoted text -
