VirusBursters - How Does it Get Installed?

Hi all,
Somehow my daughter or her boyfriend manage to keep
infecting their computer with VirusBursters. I am curious if
anyone knows what programs install VirusBurster? I don't need
any help removing VirusBursters as there is a great how-to on
BleepingComputer.com but I would like to know what installs this
piece of crap so I can warn the two of them away from it...
