Precisely how I see your responses on this.

Knowing how to drive, with a clean record, I would still elect to
have a highly safe northern European auto over an non-importable,
step above a bicycle, Chinese auto.

The thrust of Ian's comment was that if C were gone, and better
languages used instead, we would more likely get past the age
of crapware. Face it, not everyone writing code is an ace at it.

If you live long enough you will see Ian turns out right. By the time
we get to having provably correct codebase, and security issues
are all design/architectural and usage, C will have faded back onto
the shelf to a place right beside B.
