Re: Scheduled Tasks Not Running - Error MSG Included

OK, so I have no idea of the prior time and its resolution, but
first I would verify that I can either log in with the account that
is used, or that I can run as a cmd.exe windows, an then run
the exe that is being scheduled. If that works, then the issues
would seem pretty much narrowed down to something with
the scheduling of the task.

No. I've just checked.

In article <eLumhEVvGHA.5088@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, mvpNoSpam@xxxxxxx
says...
has something removed the account's user right to log on as a batch job
??

Greetings-

I'm using the scheduler to run 4 tasks every morning.
All of a sudden they have stopped running b/c logon/password error.

"PositivePay.job" (PostivePay.exe) 8/10/2006 10:15:00 PM ** ERROR **
The attempt to log on to the account associated with the task
failed, therefore, the task did not run.
The specific error is:
0x80070569: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer.
Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try
again

I have made sure they have the correct rights in the services to logon
locally etc...

Nothing was found in the security log about logon errors.

The odd thing is that the last time this happened, I went into the
properties of one, changed the password or just retyped the same one
and
it worked fine. It seems to be losing it's password somehow.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It is happening on virtual machine if this information would be of any
help.

Thanks,
Mark
