Some pirated versions of Windows, especially some coming out of China
and
the Ukraine, contain build-in "zombie" functionality, including
keyloggers and fully functional spam relays.

It is just Ukraine and not "the Ukraine". Same as you don't say "the
England" and "the Jamaica".

Other than that - sad but true. In the former and current communist
countries there is little respect for intellectual property. Criminal
business around information technology and Internet is thriving. For sale
are exploits, phishing kits, card numbers, just private information - you
name it. That is however escaping the attention of the Slashdot Your
Rights Online folk - a new ActiveX control from Microsoft makes much
easier bashing target. Integrity test, failed.

...again why not ask people instead of missleading them to install it?
Fact
is a fact. Microsoft only does this to protect their interests not
yours!!!

And when we share the same interests as MS because we see a bit farther
ahead than you we are wrong - fine....
