In what operating system?

For many operating systems:
If you mean a Startup item, then you can:
1. Uninstall the application
2. Check it options/preferences for an option not to start.
3. Uncheck in Msconfig (Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab)

If you mean something else by a Start Key, then please explain.
