And in the off-chance that it's a MSN Chat room, the only way that I
know of to turn off the profanity filter is to close the room and
recreate it without the filter in place.
If it's a user-created room in MSN (without a butterfly next to the name
in the chat list) the owner can turn it off, if they are using mIRC.
However, I DON'T recommend regular users trying this, as you can't do it
unless you have a brown or gold hammer. Also, I won't help you to find
the right programs to do this, as it's beyond the scope of this
newsgroup (and if improperly configured, the mIRC programs can create a
security hole for the user).
