Re: 2 Routers 2 Subnets

This is not a Windows security issue.

Please post to relevant newsgroups, such as one for
general (not necessarily a Microsoft forum) networking.

Hello,

I would be most grateful if anyone could provide me with the best way to
setup an ADSL router to an existing network, thus, creating 2 separate
subnets.

Users on the second subnet must be able to access the Internet only, but
not
access resources on the first subnet.

Lets suppose the 2 routers are netgear ADSL routers. What would be a
typical
ip addressing scheme for both subnets and how would these be entered in
each
router with regards WAN and LAN IP Addresses, as well as DHCP
configuration
or static?

Many thanks to all who view and reply to my question(s)
