lately i have been getting emails from places like Ebay telling me my
account had been suspended even though i have never made an account..
so i am pretty sure some one is using my hotmail account to register
to these places to scam people. i was just wondering if there is
anyway to report the issue to microsoft or delete my hotmail account
entirley because i don't want this coming back onto me, i tried
finding this information on the passport network site but i couldn't
find anything..
any help would be much appreciated.
The emails are called "phishing" and are not from the real company. It
does not mean your Hotmail account has been compromised. No one has
registered you. Here are some links to help you learn about phishing
and pharming. Delete those emails unopened.
