OK -- I keyed in on...

System\ControlSet002\Enum\PCI\VEN_xxxx&SUBSYS_xxxxxxxx&REV_xx\x&xxaaaxx&x&xD\Apropos

specifically "Apropos" and Apropos is a know adware which a variant using RootKit
technology.
