Do you have a pop up stopper such as the one included in Internet Explorer?
Open Internet Explorer and click tools.
If you do not see it there, you are missing some important updates.
Do you also have antivirus, anti spyware and a firewall?
If no to any of the above, you may be a major cause of your own problem.
