And that would appear to be the case here wouldn't it?
The patch was completed ASAP and went to testing with a projected target
release date. Testing completed early and evidence that the vulnerability
most certainly was an "emergency condition" came to light, hence the release
schedule was brought forward.
I'm not sure what you think they should have done differently.

Really? You appear to have some issues that you need to work out. Have you
considered anger management counselling?
