Viruses can also reside on floppy discs and other partitions on a drive. If
you have any scan them as well. I would be thinking about doing a kernel
level scans with floppies created on a clean computer. I've never done it
but have heard of it being done. It might not work with XP. If you do have
an infected disk and you put in another PC without locking it then you have
two PC's to fix. You could be saving infected Word documents and
reinstalling them on each fresh install also. This link is Microsoft's list
