Recovering EFS Files
Hi
When upgrading my email certs the cert regarding EFS was removed.
Now I simply can't access the encrypted files.
Imagining that the cert might have been deleted I recovered a deleted
file from the
\Documents and Settings\.....\SystemCertificates\My\Certificates. The
file I recovered has the same name has the thumb print that is
mentioned on the file properties efs details. I copied it to this
location but still I can't access the files.
Can anyone help me recover the files?
Please don't tell me that I need to backup my certs after applying efs
or anything like that. I'm aware of it and that's not the problem right
now.
Hope you can help :)
