That may or may not be a solution, depending on who you talk to.
The way many people surf today, any browser is vulnerable.
All browsers can be secured. IE just takes a little more effort than others.
Use the following guidelines:
1) never surf with an admin privy.
2) always use safe surfing habits and common sense.
3) don't open attachments unless you are expecting it.
4) don't click on a link in an email attachment
use information you already have to call/email whoever sent it
5) use something like "spoof stick" to show you where you are
spoofstick.com
6) never use HTML in email
in Fx you can use control-U to see the whole email in a text editor.
7) never use JavaScript/VBscript/ActiveX/scripting in email
8) anytime you aren't sure about an email
use the control-U to see the whole email in a text editor.
9) always use an "out of bound" contact
call your bank/credit-card-co them the number on your statement.
10) if you use IE, try Eric Howe's "enough is enough" and IE-SPYAD
