Malke,
Thank you for responding. So far I have only had a chance to boot my
computer in safe mode and ran my virus scan and two spyware scans. One with
the MS antispyware tool and the other with a yahoo antivirus tool. The
checks all came back negative for any problems. I also did some research on
this problem and found two other people whom seem to be having this same
problem. I will put their initial complaints here along with a link to were
I found there posts and I'm also going to try to contact these people to see
if they are still having this same problem. One of these people seems to
have a spyware problem but the other person is sort of like me and doesn't
seem to know what is causing this pop up. I have a feeling that we all have
some program in common that may be causing this.
Thank you once again,
Dan
First person with the same problem: Every 10 minutes or so a new program
pops up in my taskbar (Win XP Home) and then immediately disappears... No
real harm to my computer, but annoying, and it slows down whatever I'm doing
for a second or two. I can't tell what it is, it could be a program I
actually want running, or it could be some sort of virus; the icon on the
taskbar is just a generic .exe icon, and clicking on it in the taskbar before
it disappears does nothing. I've run Adaware and SpyBot. Any ideas?

Second person with the same problem: Hi, I seem to have something like an
.exe symbol pop up in my taskbar randomly. There is no window that pops up on
the screen so I would assume it's something that runs and looks/scans and
then disappears. It pops up for about 3 seconds. I've tried to click on it
when it pops out but nothing happens. I've run spybot, trojan hunter,
CWSshredder, AVG and MS Anti-spyware. I cleaned and fixed everthything they
had found. What kept appearing though were files like Blazefind, Isearchtech
and windates. But I believe they were successfully removed.....I hope.
