Hi,
I decided to try out one of those free public proxy servers that allow
you anonymous access to the web. I set the IP address of the proxy
server. And all worked okay....
Anyways, I started getting dial-up problems. I have two dial-up
accounts. And on both it said the usernane & passwords did not match.
The telephone number & username were all correct. So I retyped in the
password.
My concern is that has my PC being hacked? Or is this just a bug in
Windows XP?
Raj
PS. I was careful not to type in any passwords etc... whilst using the
proxy. I was only trying as an experiment....
