I am thinking you don't want to use the firewall stuff on a DC/DNS
server at all. Clients need to access this box and the firewall blocks
a myriad of ports....

Well, I mean, if you want to, sure, go ahead, but you will have to open
up the DNS ports, authentication, netBIOS, etc.

If the server is inside your corporate firewall as you say, I would
disable it.
