Hi Tom,
   Thank you for your reply. The link you sent tells me that 2nd-thought is
hijackware. My computer did get hijacked in July, 2004. I was able to clean
that out. I have not had any such problems since. The only current symptom is
that my pc has is being periodically slow. I have not seen any type of hijack
or loss of control of my browser. I'm not sure what to do. I think my
security arsenal (listed in my initial post) is strong and I do not want to
buy yet another tool to remove something that does not seem to be causing a
problem. Could 2nd-thought be slowing my pc? What should I do? Maybe I'll
try running hijackthis to see if it comes up? Thanks. Bryan
