You know, it would be simple to just have a guest login, with no internet
access.
but you could try to use a content program like 'Panda' software.
however, once you login as an internet user, it doesn't know if youve
switched users or if you are the same one, so instead of asking you every
time an access to the outside world is made, it just asks you once the first
time you connect.
so unless your friend happens to be a good hacker, you can use a content
manager that does not let any webpages.
or have it dissabled all the time untill you turn it on for a specific reason.
this would annoy the heck out of me, as I don't want to type in extra
passwords, or do extra configuring every 5 mins when I want something online.
or just make a limited account, and disable internet access.
(easy to allow computer use with fast user switching)

PS.
Great write up by Shenan.
