If you are using an Active Directory domain you should consider an
Enterprise CA to make it easier to issue and manage certificates to domain
users and computers. Setting up a CA is pretty routine. It is the management
and securing of your PKI that takes some planning and effort. The links
below may help. It is pretty much the same for Windows 2003 though Windows
2003 Enterprise CA installed on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server has a lot
more capabilities including the use of version 2 certificate templates for
user and computer auto enrollment. --- Steve
