There is a world of difference between deleting everything and wiping
the hard drive. Files which have been deleted can be recovered, if the
disk is wiped properly they can't.

A lot of people do not realise this and when they bring me faulty floppy
disks on which I can show them all the files they've 'deleted' they seem
shocked :-)
