How fully do you want to clean it - you could just use a file scrubbing
utility to destroy the confidential files, then boot it off the CD and
when it asks where you want to install it delete the partition and
recreate and reformat it.
If you want more 'total destruction of data' you'll have to do some more
serious cleaning of the hard drive with something that will overwrite
the entire surface with random data.
