Firewall

I recently bought a new computer with WinXP Home. It has a windows firewall -
the standard one w Win XP. I own a recent Norton Personal Firewall. Would
this give me better security than the installed version. If so; how do I
install it? Do I remove the installed version first and how to do it? Thanks.
