You cannot modify a version 1 template per se. You must duplicate the
template, and then make the modifications to the new version 2 template.
As long as your CA is an *Enterprise CA* running on Windows Server 2003,
*Enterprise* edition, you will be able to enroll the certificate through
Web enrollment for Win2k + and through the Certificates MMC for XP+.
