The printer is connected via the router. The only sharing required is the
Internet connection. OK...as Chuck says; take out Client for Microsoft
Networks, and take out File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks. A
router connected printer should not be using FPSMN, it should have a
specific port set up by the router install disk.
The pop up message you are getting relates to that File and printer sharing
for Microsoft Networks. It appears if you power down a computer with FSPMN
enabled, and one of the other computers has Client for Microsoft Networks
set up to access a share on that computer. Once you remove clients and
shares on all computers, that should not appear at power down.
