Not sure if you caught this in passing, but at this moment, our
home/home business has three operating systems and four that have been
cannibalized to keep these three running (three needed minor repairs and
the fourth was actually a good system!) It's a precarious situation that
looks to last until June or July. So if you *do* come across that extra
box, feel free to beam it on over.
Hmm... I need to get off my duff and get my Mom's new Dell ordered...
then I can have her old P55/200MHz and load up Win98SE. Isn't good for
much else.
I have another correspondent checking for me (I hope) after disabling
the original patch in MSCONFIG and then installing the new one, leaving
the old entry in place (well, in place but disabled.) Waiting to see
what is reported.
