That depends - check the specs on the router to see if it functions as a
firewall too. I'm not a big fan of "software firewalls" where an alternative
exists, but we don't know if an alternative exists yet...
As Michael Pelletier suggests, running with minimal user rights, disabling
potentially dangerous features (especially those you don't use... why take a
risk for no gain?), etc. are just as important.
